Buddha Head Pendant - Brass setting. NEW IN STOCK.

Product Code P-144

This ivory-coloured Buddha Head pendant is exquisitely detailed, oval in shape and featuring a serene sculptural depiction of the Buddha’s face that embodies calm, balance and inner awareness. The expression is peaceful and harmonious, with gently closed, downcast eyes symbolizing meditation, compassion and spiritual reflection. The nose is straight and refined, and the lips form a faint, calm smile - sometimes called the “Buddha smile” - conveying tranquility and contentment. The ears are long and elongated, a traditional symbol of wisdom and the Buddha’s past life as a prince who wore heavy earrings. The finely sculpted symmetry enhances its tranquil presence, making it both meaningful and visually striking.

This Buddha head is framed by a solid brass rim with a thickness of 5.6mm (0.56 cm / 0.22”), accented by striations along the outer border that add texture and depth. The warm brass setting beautifully complements the soft ivory tone of the Buddha's face, creating an attractive contrast.

Additional Information:  Overall, a Buddha head is not meant to be a portrait, but a symbolic image - designed to evoke stillness, mindfulness and inner peace in the viewer.

🌿 Spiritual meaning.

For many, the Buddha head represents:

Mindfulness and awareness - the head symbolizes wisdom and enlightened thought.
Inner peace and calm - a reminder to stay grounded and compassionate.
The path to enlightenment - focusing on mental discipline rather than material things.
Some Buddhists or spiritual practitioners wear it as a personal reminder of their values, not as decoration alone.

🧘 Cultural or religious identity.

In some cultures, wearing Buddha imagery reflects:

Connection to Buddhist teachings.
Respect for Buddhist philosophy, even if the person isn’t formally Buddhist.
A symbol of ethical living, compassion, and non-violence.

Personal or symbolic reasons.

Others wear it because:

It makes them feel protected or centred.
It marks a period of personal growth or healing.
They associate it with balance, simplicity or calm.

Some people wear Buddha head jewellery purely as fashion. This can be controversial, because:

In many Buddhist cultures, the Buddha’s image is sacred.
Because of this, some Buddhists feel Buddha head jewellery should be worn only with understanding and respect.
